Board of Education
Make It Morgan!
Morgan Bates is running for Position 2 on the Clatsop Community College Board of Education to bring a fresh, student-focused perspective to the table. As a soon-to-be graduate and former Associated Student Government treasurer, she understands what students need to succeed—and she’s ready to advocate for them. Morgan is committed to rebuilding trust, strengthening the Board’s effectiveness, and ensuring CCC stays centered on the people it serves: its students and staff.
Morgan’s Priorities
Lead With Integrity
The Board has lost the confidence of many in our community. Morgan will lead with honesty, transparency, and a strong ethical compass to rebuild trust and ensure the Board truly serves students, staff, and the public.
Put Students First
As a recent CCC student, Morgan knows what today’s students need. She will be a strong voice to ensure every decision made reflects the priorities, challenges, and goals of those working hardest to succeed.
Bring Stability and Focus
Disruptions and infighting have distracted from what really matters—student success. Morgan will work to bring steady, collaborative leadership that keeps the Board focused on results, not politics.
Support CCC’s Staff
Behind every successful student is a dedicated educator or staff member. Morgan is committed to advocating for the people who make CCC run—ensuring they have the tools, respect, and support they deserve.
